As our Mission Statement says: “Immaculate Heart of Mary School’s greatest assets are the children and families we serve.” We are blessed to have parents and grandparents who are invested in the success of their children and of the school. These organizations provide parent collaboration for administration of the school and enriching events and activities for students. They engage in fundraising the contributes to the physical needs of the school and keeps tuition reasonable for many families.
The HSA is the IHM parent school organization. The HSA board is elected by parents. The Board meets monthly to plan upcoming events and needs of the school. All parents are invited to attend these monthly meetings and to be actively involved in decisions and discussions. Two times a year an all school HSA meetings are held with voting on major expenditures and board positions.
The SAC meets monthly with school, parish and committee members to advise the administration on policy decisions as well as to collaboration on upcoming events. Every classroom has representation on the committee and communicates with classroom parent members about decisions and information.
The Athletic Committee supports athletics and works closely with the Athletic Director to support our teams. Parents are welcome to attend the monthly meetings and contribute to the discussion and decisions.
Catholic School Advantage
The Catholic School Advantage organization meets monthly to support families of Hispanic origin. They work to support the annual Hispanic Heritage Festival with funds supporting the scholarship program
